1. Why are vegetables (made into soups) healthy?

Everyone knows it: vegetables are healthy! They are an essential part of a balanced diet and they contribute to our overall well-being. Therefore, nutritionists recommend an intake of 300 grams of vegetables. Yet we often eat too few vegetables. With a minimum of fat and a maximum of vitamins, a daily portion of soup already puts you on the right health track!

2. What is SoupSouks?

The trademark of our soups is ‘SoupSouks' or ‘Soup market'. Soupsouks soups are 100% fresh, and contain no preservatives or flavour enhancers. Our fresh soups (which are also available without machines) are prepared with fresh vegetables that are bought on the largest vegetable auction market in Belgium.

3. Does Foods4U make the soups?

No, our soups are made by our parent company Yanim NV (trade named 'Simply Fresh'; see a short video on the webpage ‘Our Fresh Soups').

4. What soup portions are available?

Our soups are available in 950ml (2 – 3 portions) or 275ml (1 portion), both in plastic microwaveable cups.

5. How does soup ordering online work?

Enter the Webshop on our website www.foods4u.be: there you can order and receive our daily fresh soups within 24 to 48 hours.

Imagine that you and your colleagues fancy enjoying a variety of soups at work next week, and you know that through Foods4U, you can buy fresh, pasteurised soups that have a shelf life of 2 to 3 weeks. You can then, via Foods4U's Webshop, order soups for the whole week, and store them in your company's fridge, and then take them whenever you wish.

6. Are the soups on the Webshop also available for purchase by individual customers?

Our Webshop (with all Fresh and Fair Trade products) is intended for everyone – companies and individuals; we also deliver to shops – shops can contact us directly for their orders). Would you like to serve fresh soups for parties, meetings, for you and your work colleagues daily, for your school, or for your own family? Then contact us!

7. What are the payment methods?

With very easy payment methods (cash, bank transfer, or via the fast and secure Paypal creditcard payment system) you can order and receive our daily-fresh soups within 24 to 48 hours. These payment methods apply to all products on our Webshop.

8. 100% fresh?

These ‘SoupSouks' soups from Foods4U are 100% fresh, well pasteurised, and 100% Belgian. The soups contain no preservatives or flavour enhancers, and are prepared with daily-fresh vegetables, bought on Belgium's biggest vegetable auction market. Available in individual portions (275ml), family portions (950ml) and in 3L packs.

9. What is the shelf life of your soups?

These fresh soups are made without the addition of preservatives. They should therefore always be refrigerated. The shelf life is 2 weeks for soups with meat, and 3 weeks for soups without meat. They should also be kept from exposure to sunlight because no antioxidants were added.

10. What safety measures have been taken to make these soups ready for consumption?

Our soups are made by our parent company Yanim NV (trade named 'Simply Fresh'). The Simply Fresh brand stands for fresh products with attention to a real, authentic, and delicious taste. We seek a maximum number of ingredients that do not contain artificial additives. Food safety is of enormous importance to us. Therefore, the products are manufactured according to the most recent food regulations. This includes the traceability of the product; we can - on the basis of a lot code on the packaging - always check when the product was manufactured, by whom and what ingredients were used.

11. Are the soups delivered hot?

No.

They are delivered chilled. The reason we make pasteurised soups is to offer you more choice about what you eat, when you eat it, and without surplus! Our soups are well pasteurised. That means they must always be kept cool. The soup cups are delivered chilled (in a cool box), and must be stored directly into a refrigerator in your company, school or home until you feel like eating it. The shelf life is 2 weeks for soups with meat, and 3 weeks for soups without meat. You only need to heat up the soup portion you need and that's it!

Sometimes the stomach can't wait till lunchtime. So with our soups readily stored in your fridge, you can eat whenever you wish – early morning, mid-morning, lunchtime, or if you need to work late!
